Expecting Guests

My Contest Entry for .the-view-to-a-kill 's Contest. I decided I'd draw Toily. Such a fun character to draw <3.

I think I may have gone a bit overboard with selecting themes. Obviously I HAD to choose steampunk because those clothes are so much fun to draw (Dress is designed entirely by me) and I feel bronze and silver were already within that theme so I felt I had to include some of the other themes.

She was originally going to have a bow, but replaced it with the dragonfly I like how it looks. Dragonfly jewelry looks so pretty *u*

btw the little silver round things on the table cloth are ladybugs if anyone didn't recognize them ;w;

The octo'pie's (get it?) are completely edible and delicious decorations. Who puts real octopus on cakes??? Well... Toily might she is part kitty so they just might very well be. We'll never know now will we?

Finally the last element (maybe?). Espionage :3 Toily is scheming to get some info out of her visitors with some truth syrum. Toily, however might've just switched truth syrum for poison o: and switched the cups around. The poor dear ._.

This is the first time I've done a painted background like this ;A; *sobs*
It's so... uwah that tea set took forever
and because of the limitations of my Ipad app, I had to do the background and character on two separate documents .-.
